Tax Rates & Thresholds

Individual Tax Rates 2025-26

Current

Stage 3 tax cuts implemented. Rates range from 0% to 45% with $18,200 tax-free threshold.

Medicare Levy Surcharge

Current

Thresholds indexed: Singles $90,000+, Families $180,000+ (plus $1,500 per dependent).

Company Tax Rate

Current

Base rate entity (base rate entity) 25% (for companies with turnover < $50M). 30% otherwise.

Superannuation

Super Guarantee Rate

Current

Employer contributions increased to 11.5% (from 1 July 2025). Rises to 12% from 1 July 2026.

Concessional Cap
