Frequently Asked Questions
Is my financial data secure when converting?+
Yes — completely. All conversion happens in your browser using client-side JavaScript. Your files are never uploaded to our servers. We cannot see, access, or store any of your financial data.
Which Australian bank statement formats are supported?+
We support PDF bank statements from all major Australian banks including Commonwealth Bank, ANZ, Westpac, NAB, Bendigo, Macquarie, St George, and ING. We also accept OFX, QFX, QIF, IIF, and CSV exports from most online banking platforms.
Can I use converted files directly in QuickBooks Online?+
Yes — use our OFX to QBO converter to create files that import directly into QuickBooks Online. QBO is the native QuickBooks bank import format and works with all QuickBooks Online plans.
What's the difference between QBO, OFX, and QIF formats?+
OFX is the industry-standard format supported by most accounting software. QBO is Intuit's QuickBooks-specific OFX variant. QIF is an older Quicken format still used by some Australian banks and legacy software. QFX is Quicken's proprietary OFX variant.
Is there a file size limit for conversions?+
PDF files up to 10MB are supported. All other formats (OFX, QIF, IIF, CSV) support files up to 5MB. These limits cover the vast majority of bank statement PDFs and accounting exports.
Do I need to create an account to use the converters?+
No account is needed. All 16 converters are completely free to use without registering or logging in. Just upload your file and download the result instantly.
